This website is part of a research and development project in which we are developing assessments and associated resources for supporting middle school students in argumentation across reading, writing and talking. This project, Constructing and Critiquing Arguments: Diagnostic Assessment for Information and Action System, is a collaboration between the Lawrence Hall of Science, University of California Berkeley and Boston College and is supported by the Carnegie Corporation of NY grant number B 8780.
